There was a suggestion that PEAR::DB should be extended step by step
with Metabases's features. Well I don't know exactly who proposed this
back then (I think it was you). And a lot of people seemed to feel the
same.
I do not have the time to be part of such an effort.
I do have time to pearify Metabase. There is a huge difference there,
even if the outcome may in the end be the same.
So this is what I am asking :-)
But the reactions seem to sound positive on this.
