Yeah, the problem with anything but flat is that you pretty much need
to do pixel-by-pixel rendering of each polygon. I have some code which
does this (in C++) but don't have it ATM. :-( I have notes from the
class I took about it, though, if you'd like them.
Gourad should be possible if you can find a gradient filling function
but Phong *needs* pixel-by-pixel or a special function in the library.
