I'd like to submit a patch for PHP_Compat to support mime_content_type(). I
currently have an implementation in MIME_Type, which uses the `file' binary
to do this (it uses mime_content_type() if it's there, then falls back to
`file.')
It would be pretty easy to have PHP_Compat call MIME_Type to get the type of a
file, but MIME_Type has plenty of stuff not related to that, which would mean
more overhead. I think the correct solution is to move the implementation
into PHP_Compat, and just call mime_content_type() in MIME_Type instead.
Thoughts?
