Not to mention really, really slow and impossible to do correctly without full php parsing of every single possible branch. Imagine this code: return $mappedfunction(); Finding the possible exceptions returned is logically impossible unless we use an algorithm that is as efficient as something akin to cracking 1024-bit RSA with a brute-force approach :).
