There are many emerging AJAX projects, and at least some attempts at
integration, see
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/ajax-web-technology
As this is a fast-developing field, it's hard to say what projects will
emerge as the most used. Rather than committing to a single
implementation/AJAX framework, would it be possible to structure an
abstraction layer into the package, providing tools that could be adapted to
different frameworks?
