The reason why a choose the 'patch-version' was the license issue of the
Zend engine when ext/phpdoc was developed.
I'm still not happy with the inclusion of these two functions as we have the
same code twice although it is not neccesary. I would prefer a general
interface to the Zend-Parser instead of hidden static interfaces.
