Hi guys, First off, many thanks to the authors of the Structures_DataGrid package! I had some issues with the column formatter function, then I saw the code comments that it needs a revision so I stepped in ;) My suggestion is a bit verbose so I posted it outside the mailing list. Here it is: http://www.phpied.com/structures-datagrid-column-formatter/ I hope it can help the authors of the package when thinking about the formatter() revision.
Having had some trouble with the way formatter callbacks are working right now, I can say nothing else but this: I like it! Haven't tested the actual code, though. But it sure looks reasonable. IMHO, callback definitions should work consistently in all functions and class libraries. DataGrid, being a very useful package in all other aspects, is the only one I know that deviates from this standard. CU Markus
