Hey all, I'm a long time PEAR-DEV lurker, but must admit this caught my eye.

I was writing a Jabber alerter <http://cvs.php.net/pear/Net_Monitor/Monitor/Alert/Jabber.php> for Net_Monitor <http://pear.php.net/package/Net_Monitor> and thought why not do a full-blown Net_Jabber. But, of course, I have no time.I've actually been working with some Jabber code - for integration with drupal (http://drupal.org) for a client recently. I've been using class.jabber.php (http://cjphp.netflint.net/) as a base.
Anyone else thought of taking this on?I'd love to see this functionality available from PEAR directly (I checked there first, after all ;). I'm not officially a PEAR developer (yet), but would be interested in possibly cleaning up what I've been doing and making it "PEAR worthy". Sounds like as good a time as any to make my first proposal :) -- James Walker :: http://walkah.net/
