Subject: [PEAR-DEV] Gurugeek is back :-D
Hello Everyone :-D
I am back (or partially) to my PHP PEAR duties...mostly related to my
packages. For the very few who care I would have never expected to
disappear, at
least for a while, from Pear.
I often made fun of people with packages and somehow slow in replying
...or not so keen anymore on pear. I was just thinking..how can this
happen ? They have a
package, how long does it take to reply or fix a bug ? how lazy !! but
but...I joined the club too !!
I moved last April to Zürich and, as often happens, life took priority.
I am also teaching at the University of Wales MBA programme here in
Switzerland and, with a full time
job and many other things to do .....time is scarce !!
That said, I am more than glad to be around and check the mailing list
regularly. Few things:
a) my packages are more on less in shape. I have added some "helpers"
in the ones where I cannot maintain actively. If there is any problem
from the QA site, please
let me know. I do use many of these packages and would hate to see them
gone :(
b) if someome needs help with something, time permitting, please count
on me !! (not as before but ..still )
If some of the new developers needs a free hosting space, the
http://dotgeek.org free hosting is back too now with Cpanel and other
good things in the package, more space,
free and no ads.
Glad to be back, sorry for the absence,
Cheers
David
