Ok so if everybody is OK I will keep Archive_Tar a standard package in the pear/ CVS tree. I can do a manual synchro with php4/pear in order to have an up-to-date copy in this CVS part (today there is not so many updates to do). For the phptar script I'm waiting for Stig reaction. Does this imply a move of the code to pear/Archive_Tar ? I think there will be notification also in some scripts background for PHP release ....
