as far coverting amounts between types, that is supported. (->covert()) and also listing the available currencies (->getValidCurrencies()) as for the choice of services, the package DOES have a custom driver layer, allowing a developer to write a custom driver to consume additional web services. I currenylt have an email out to xe.com asking for a free developer account so I may create a driver for the service, i'll look into the other services too. Since each service has pros/cons, some are more european, some are free, some (like xe.com, cost money, lots of money [about $530/yr] I think its better to offer different options, rather than force users to use a specific service. This history topic is something I have thought of before, but one of two things is holding me back. First, I think this would be enought functionality to merit (possibly) a seperate package.
