But I think this is just theoretical since that if should always pass:(-6) Well that is because init() has changed drastically .. thats also mentioned in the changelog. You now need to call login() and friends yourself. The examples have been changed accordingly as well.I've got the login working now, but checkRight() is not working. It used to work fine. I tracked the problem down to a call inside login(): if (!$perm->mapUser($auth->getProperty('auth_user_id'), $containerName)) { $auth->getProperty('auth_user_id') returns NULL. Is this a configuration error?if (!isset($this->tables['users']['fields']['auth_user_id'])) { $this->propertyValues['auth_user_id'] = $this->pearAuth->getUsername(); }
now the real question is why does the mapUser() call fail? since PEAR::Auth does not provide a user id we are using the username. I think is the way things were in the last release as well .. but maybe there is something there?It fails because $auth_user_id is not set. I hardcoded this is inside mapUser() $auth_user_id = 'jeroen@terena.nl'; Then it works fine. So somehow it's getting set properly. I'll do some more tests. Jeroen
