I would like to give up my maintainership of XML_Transformer as I have (as does Kristian) no longer the time to properly maintain it. As far as I remember from the last time I worked on it, XML_Transformer needs to be (at least partially) rewritten to work with PHP 5.1 due to some change to PHP's XML parsing. Kristian and I also never got around to rewrite the core using PHP 5's DOM extension (which would be more powerful than the current SAX-based approach). So I think it is time for someone else to step up and take over, thanks.
