Bonsoir,
Sorry to bother the list again, I talk not enough elsewhere, perhaps ...
As you know, I work a lot on Text_Wiki ... but not only.
My start by pear was wanting to add Console_Extend, starting on the Console_Getargs concept, unifying to Console_Getopt then to any CLI script in order to get a script accepting input both from command line or web.
I was confused as it introduced some javascript generated HTML pages, I mean, it was not *only* PHP. I think it's ok, now :)
For the story, it started bad, but then I was caught in the pear move (lovely). Also, this proposal, even fully rewritten was indeed not in the PEAR lines. Then I deleted it. Yes, it's what you have to do case you're too far , no comments or too many "bad" ones.
One of my first add in Text_Wiki was the doc/test_Text_Wiki.php
Funny, I prefer to test first. Youngs call it extreme programming (although it is more).
This script is intended to run in command line or from web the same.
It does right, but now I want to extend it to be able to test fully Text_Wiki, enable/disable rules, configure paths, parsers and renders and any rules in them.
I still want it to run in command line, the intention is, within others, to get it to produce unit tests, what we sorely miss.
Then, I feel like rewriting a wheel I already did.
The intention of Console_Extend was to get a script.php to run
* from command line: php script.php "arguments"
* or from http (in browser) with some generated form having this "arguments" as POSTed controls.
(to tell it short)
"arguments" were in this time configured in Getargs or Getopt format, could be else but should be simple the same.
_Are some of you interested to take back this proposal on their own ?_
I would naturally help by, after being not enough accepted I helped several proposers...
I just don't want to do it again on a single need but best have it standard,
as a package, running for any purpose.
Anybody with enough clear views on php use and little courage and availability can postulate.
