Hello Bertrand! I am kind of curious about Net_Monitor... Is there any other service that must be implemented in Net_Monitor's package? The following services are available: - DNS - FTP - HTTP - HTTPS - SMTP Are there more services to be implemented? About services, not in sight. The princip is open to anything, based on a single response code from what is monitored. Net_Monitor only alerts about the state (response) changes. There was , by the proposal time (where I jumped in) some more proposals. As checking not only a page availability, but also its changes. Marko Djukic also asked in irc if some connection would be possible to some SNMP messages/server. That is open as we propose a simple interface. About alerters, Robert wrote 2 more than the existing SMTP and SMS, a Growl one, which depends on some next contribution from Bertrand Mansion, and a Jabber one. You can find them in CVS. There's also some request in tracker about getting mail alerts direct through the basic sendmail in PHP. The last release I did was about some bug/doc corrections, goal was to level it before more extensions. Regards -- toggg
