I think the doc and the package browsing organization of pearweb, must respect the same structure. The Archive_Tar will be distributed with the core PEAR code (because it is used by the package manager scripts), but will be developped as a 'standard' package (pear/ CVS tree and not php4/pear/ CVS tree). So the first time I declare the package in pearweb, I did it with the Category 'File'. I think it should now be in the same structure as the doc (under 'PEAR' Category). The other solution is to put the doc under the 'File' Category. That was my first idea, before I see that Archive was declared in the core 'STATUS' file. Thanks, Vincent
