soon to call for votes on XML_Query2XML

Before I call for votes I'd like to get some more feedback on XML_Query2XML. The only thing I couldn't resolve myself is the similarity between XML_Query2XML and (the rather outdated) XML_sql2xml. I tried to contact XML_sql2xml's maintainer Christian Stocker (chregu) twice but didn't hear anything from him. All feedback is greatly appreciated!
