Hi,
There are 2 open bugs on the mssql driver. Nathan maybe you can have a quick look at them? Aside from that there are a few feature requests you may also want to look at Nathan (pgsql, mssql and MDB2 core).the TZ info in the timestamp datatype is probably an useful info. AFAIK, though, very few dmbs implement it. Most of them (mysql, ibase, db2?, ...) store the time in the TZ of the system, or according to a global setting. The SQL 92 standard defines two datatypes: TIME(p) WITH TIME ZONE TIMESTAMP(p) WITH TIME ZONE but AFAIK only Oracle and Postgres follow the standard. What about adding a sort of custom datatype mapping example repository in the docs for cases like this one? The users will pick from there only what they need.
However there are plenty of new features and little fixes that I think its time to make another release. Any objects or todo's that should be addressed before? Maybe its even time to bump the version to 1.1.0 due to the vast number of additions and changes.ok Cheers, -- Lorenzo Alberton http://pear.php.net/user/quipo
