One thing to solve prior to commit in the location of the files. I do not think you need exceptions for this package, also why having an empty extended exception? If a method can throw an exceptions, it should be documented (throw tag).
An empty extended exception allows programs to catch exceptions for this package specifically. It is a requirement when using exceptions to use an exception class specific to the package, whether or not it includes extra functionality. -- Justin Patrin
