Hi guys, There is this PHP extension called SAPRFC (http://saprfc.sourceforge.net/) that allows you to use PHP to connect to an SAP system. I wanted to ask what do you guys think of creating a PEAR package around this extension? What currently exists is a PHP library written by the author of the SAPRFC extension himself, but I believe it can benefit from the PEAR infrastructure. I volunteer to do the package and I'll approach the SAPRFC author for collaboration on this project. Another thing is where does it fit in the PEAR package tree, I mean how it should be called. BTW, such packages already exist for Perl, Ruby and Python (http://piersharding.com/blog/) You can see an example of code that uses the SAPRFC at https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/4459 also the PEAR::Auth container http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=8637 Best, Stoyan -- Stoyan Stefanov http://www.phpied.com
