Probably you're getting some non-excel output in the XLS file,
probably due to different error reporting. Have them send you the XLS
file and open it in a text editor and look at the top.

I've installed this component on my linux server and everything works perfect. When running my code on my clients server, the Excel file I'm creating is just garbage and Excel doesn't know how to open it.
