Hi, Gregory Beaver wrote:
I noticed that docs for PHP5 classes on PEAR website do not contain information about access modifiers (protected, static, etc.). See for example: http://pear.php.net/package/HTML_Common2/docs/0.3.0/HTML_Common2/HTML_Common2.html Since phpDocumentor 1.3.0 can handle PHP5 code, I presume the problem is with the converter/template used?
Yes, templates did need to be updated to handle the new information in some cases. However, more important is to run phpDocumentor in PHP 5 itself, something that is not done on the production server. Otherwise it won't recognize T_PUBLIC/T_PRIVATE tokens as existing because ext/tokenizer doesn't recognize them without php 5.
We still aren't running PHP5 on pear.php.net? Ouch.
