Hi all, I've just started a project and have decided to use PHP as I've seen and heard so much about this language. My previous experience is with Java (J2EE), Perl, and C and, although I'm not guru programmer by any means, I have found PHP quite easy to learn. The website I am working on will be available in two languages so I have found the PEAR package "Translation2" which seems to do what I want to do quite nicely (although I have found the documentation to be incomplete and some of it obsolete). My question/comment is about the getPage() and getRawPage() methods which both return an array of strings. The strings are indexed by a numeric stringID which is generated by Translation2_Admin::add(). I believe this is a mistake - the strings should be indexed by the stringID of type string which is the first argument given to Translation2_Admin::add(). The numeric stringID is an internal Translation2 construct and as such is meaningless to me; I don't see how one could use the arrays returned by getPage() and getRawPage() as they are at the moment. It would be great if those of you with experience with this package could let me know what you think and how you use the arrays returned by the getPage() and getRawPage() methods. Regards, Michael
