Hello,
I'm not sure where to report this, so I'm sending it to the list.
An example of the error can be found at:
http://pear.php.net/rest/c/Console/packagesinfo.xml
XML parsing failed: syntax error (Line: 52, Character: 0)

Affected channels are:
Console, File Formats, HTML, Networking, PHP, Structures, Text,
Validate, Web Services and XML
These invalid XML files are responsible for not showing those categories
and their packages in the 'list-all' command. This can be experienced in
PEAR_Frontend_Web, where the installed packages of those categories are
listed under self-created the 'LOCAL' category.
I don't know if this is a bug in REST or the server package or the
pear-website, but I think it's pretty important.
Greetings,
