If you have reported a bug yourself, you should get an email about every change. If you haven't reported it yourself, you can only use the subscription feature currently. In the future a new pear-bugs mailing list might be available (there is a request for it), but this list might have to much traffic to follow a single package. I have requested a RSS feeds for the bug tracker, like bugs.php.net offers it. This would make it easy to follow the bugs for single or multiple packages, or to just subscribe to a single bug.
