"metapear" pathetic version 1 :-)

Hi, well I hope you are not all to dissapointed with the lack of code. Anyways here is a little something that I hope will bring some confidence that merging PEAR DB and Metabase is a feasible idea: http://www.dybnet.de/metapear Please check the README.txt that you can find there for details. I must admit I am pretty nervous as this is my first source code release to a fairly large and competent audience. But I am not only doing this to get that merge done but also to learn more about PHP (and PEAR) and Opensource development in general. So don't spare any criticism (like any of you would (-: ). I think I will now be able to put in more hours then the weeks before but this will still not get beyond much than a couple hours a week. So I hope my next release will be a bit sooner and more feature rich.
