yeah but then you'll have your own release schedule and such plus you wouldn't have to be constantly channeling patches through us ;)

I know a perm container can be achieved with AD but perhaps it's a bit too much hassle. You can read the groups where the user is member of. That's all.

But does it require people to have the user also in a DB (for LU sakes, to link for perms and such ?) I mean since I don't know LDAP that much I have to ask like an idiot, sorry, but is it possible to pull in the permissions groups and users have in ldap ? Or perhaps I'm misremembering how LDAP stores permissions :) - Helgi
