Today, i read an article about a language called 'R' for statistical stuff. An
paragraph of the article is about CRAN - Comprehensiv R Archive Network
(http://cran-r-project.org).
"Many Tools support package programmer with quality control. 'R CMD check foo'
checks if the structure of the package foo is corecct and every function is
documented, as well as the definition of a function matches the documention.
Subsequently, all test are executed and when desired, the output is compared
with earlier executions. [...] A errorfree run of 'R CMD check' is a condition
for accommodation of a package into CRAN" (iX, 3/2002)
Isn't it a intresting idea for PEAR?
