Alain,
As I say in a previous mail, the french translation must not be limited to a
small number of people. We should use a 'STATUS' file (like for 'en' group),
where each person who wants to start the translation of a package, will
check that the work is not already started, and if not will indicate that by
a 'w' flag.
However a group must take the first chapters, which are not packages.
