Following up on the thread on DB_FETCHMODE_ASSOC and Interbase, which was
fixed by Tomas a few weeks ago, I am a bit unsure on the functionality of
the fix.
The following code (ibase.php 153-154):
if ($fetchmode & DB_FETCHMODE_ASSOC) {
$ar = get_object_vars(ibase_fetch_object($result));
ignores empty or null fields, therefore on a multi-rows result set, the
number of fields returned varies from row to row. Clearly this is not a good
behaviour for a db driver =)
I tried a few quick fixes, mainly by storing the field names and re-creating
an associative array from ibase_fetch_row (ugly, I know), but I keep getting
Interbase synchronization errors, which were already discussed in the
previous thread.
Any suggestions?
Ludo
