pear package file manager 2

Hi, I am trying to create an initial package.xml for the DBAL part of Doctrine. Oddly enough I can set all the options etc, but when I want to actually generate the file it gives be an xml parse error: soitgoes:/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/doctrine/lib lsmith$ php package.php make PEAR_PackageFileManager2 Error: Package validation failed: Error: Invalid tag order in <package>, found <description> expected one of "name" Error: package.xml <package> tag has no version attribute, or version is not 2.0 http://pastebin.ca/645402 I presume the parse error occurs because its trying to parse a non existent package.xml. Is the file manager just not suited to creating files from scratch? regards, Lukas PS: I am mailing pear-dev, since I presume there will be very few people on pear-general who have experience with this package and also the solution might interest others on this list.
