I am attempting to test this for you, but I'm obviously missing some
important step...
Your email says that "bug.php" is attached, but I see no attachment, so I've
assumed that the contents of "bug.php" should be that "Reproduce code:"
section in the email body.
I've compiled that CVS snapshot ok, even installed PEAR with it ok, but when
I try to run your "Reproduce code", I simply get "Fatal error: Call to
undefined function mb_substr() in ././bug.php on line 4"
My local details:
$ php -v
PHP 5.2.4RC2-dev (cli) (built: Aug 13 2007 21:22:42)
Copyright (c) 1997-2007 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.2.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2007 Zend Technologies
$ uname -a
Linux durbatuluk 2.6.20-16-generic #2 SMP Thu Jun 7 19:00:28 UTC 2007 x86_64
GNU/Linux
The only options I used in the ./configure step were --prefix and
--without-pear. Is there something extra I need to compile in for this to
work?
