I am not sure if this is going to subscribe me right away, but incase it does, here's my
question.
hello all!
I am looking to use mdb2 on a win2003 IIS machine that will be connecting to a mssql db machine.
The connection string needs to be encrypted as well as the ability to encrypt / decrypt locally on
that machine (in case it goes down or needs to be moved to a new machine).
How would something like that work? Do I encrypt the DNS string and then use is as I would normally?
Does the mssql db know to decrypt it? How does that work?
Any guidance would be great.
Thank you.
