Slightly off topic but I have a SQLite3 extension under development as
one of my side projects. It only implements a subset of the SQLite
extension but there is enough implemented for me to write a MDB2 driver.
The problem with the current SQLite extension is that libsqlite broke
backwards compatibility between v2 and v3, its not even a small break
its a huge break in both the API and the database data format.
I'm not intending to do a preview of the extension until a few weeks
from now sine I'm still not set on the API but I can certainly write a
MDB2 driver for one of the sample applications.
