I see your point, but let's not assume that hell freezes over.
Bugs can happen - maybe will -, but we should not refrain from using a
feature because there *could* be one. If there is a bug, I am sure it
will be fixed. On the other hand we shouldn't use a feature when it
doesn't meet the concept/idea.
One more reason to get involved and help the PHP-people test, test, test.
