PEAR2_Http_Request / HTTP_Request2

Just a heads up for anyone who is interested, there is a PEAR2_Http_Request class in PEAR2 SVN. Its a driver/adapter based model that lets you make requests directly with sockets, with streams, with curl, or with pecl_http (all the adapters don't work right now). Anyhow the code is currently at: http://svn.pear.php.net/wsvn/PEARSVN/HTTP_Request/trunk/src/?rev=0&sc=0 If you were going to check it out that would be: http://svn.pear.php.net/PEAR2/HTTP_Request/trunk/src/ Currently neither David or I have a plan to make a HTTP_Request2 release for pear1 just a PEAR2_Http_Request but I have no problem helping someone get that release done I'm just not going to drive it. The todo list for the code is: Write Curl/pecl_http adapters Update examples to use autoloader Write unit tests If your interested in helping out let me know and I'll make sure your SVN access is setup. thanks -josh
