Quoting Joe Stump <joe@joestump.net>:I'm sure there are quite a few people who would be willing to hack a bit at this who've moved to pdo and aren't going back. Do you have the code up somewhere?Good to hear -- PDO was one of the reasons I was asking the question. Joe, I'd be quite happy to help out, although I probably don't have much spare time for it in the next couple of months. Also, I don't mind shuffling the DB EOL date (should there be a consensus that DB can and should be EOLed) around a bit to fit in with the stabilisation of any new PEAR2 package. It might be nice to be able to say to users that they can go from a stable DB to a stable PEAR2::DB, or whatever it ends up being called. AdamActually I think we need to have a successor available by that time that is based on PDO.I've got a working concept of this.
