Hi, Joshua Eichorn wrote:-joshThere is working code in pear2 svn, that use an adapter design to support multiple backends."There is somewhat working code in PEAR2 SVN that claims to use an adapter design to support multiple backends sometime in the future." I'll drop these clarifications to your statement when I see a working CURL backend there... Also 90% of code that's working there is copied verbatim from HTTP_Request. And by "verbatim" here I mean "including workarounds for PHP4 deficiencies". :-D There is also a streams based adapter that is the current default and has no php4 workarounds, but whatever, I dont' have enough time to work on the new code much less argue about it
