Hi all,
Has anyone implemented (or seen, or any hints whatsoever) an LDAP *server* in
PHP?
Why? Imagine you have various email cients, on various computers, and you
already have a relational db with a web front end that has all your address
book data. If only you had an LDAP server front end... most email clients let
you specify an ldap server, options user/pass credentials, and then they use
the LDAP server to expand recipient names/addresses.
Definitely not trivial. But nowhere near implementing an entire LDAP server.
There's no insert, no modify, and only the most basic querying.
