It's also going to force the users to run the run-tests command twice just to test the thing. My vote is either move everything to PHPUnit or stay with .phpt, having 2 test styles in a single package makes no sense from a developer or a user perspective. Note that I moved the tests from PHPUnit to .phpt a few years ago because it was easier to debug the tests. In addition, PHPUnit had broken BC causing some of the tests to fail that had worked in the past. Greg
