Hi all, PHP_CompatInfo continue to improve PHP5 detection, and keep stable detection for PHP4. Warning: As wrote in PEAR Manual [1], choose the right release if you want to detect, very very old PHP3 scripts, or PHP4 and better. Remember [2] one year ago, Davey asked me a new improvement on PHP5 detection: When PHP5 scripts have method chaining. If you don't know what is method chaining, I recommand to read a page I've found on the Net [3] I've just open a new request #13094 [4] to include this in API 1.6.0 Davey, if you want more, I've still one more free week to do it. I'll commit the new PHP5 method chaining detection, and keep testing it Regards Laurent [1] http://pear.php.net/manual/en/package.php.php-compatinfo.whatsnew.php [2] http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.php.pear.devel/39412 [3] http://cowburn.info/php/php5-method-chaining/ [4] http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=13094
