Hi everyone,
I've noticed that Validate_HU is not in PHP CVS and perhaps some new
validate packages suffer the same problem, now I want to make this clear to
everyone, not just Validate maintainers, validate packages have to be in PHP
CVS or they won't be released on pearweb.
Next time a new developer wants to start a validate package and people tell
him or her to just create a new package and say pear-group just waves it
through because they noticed a developer telling the person to do it, do
make sure they have been in contact with one of the Validate leads so they
can get informed on all the rules the package group has so we won't be in
this situation again, now if that was actually done for HU then I have one
thing to say to the other Validate leads, shame on you! :)
This is not meant as bashing but rather as a informational email so everyone
knows how the Validate package process should be, no PEPr, just go through
at least one Validate lead (that is the main Validate package lead guys)
Have a nice one.
Regards
Helgi
