For the number of users, the number of bugs here is high. Is anyone willing to step up and help contribute to this package? I can no longer install it from pearweb due to the invalid

    I don't intend to officially take it. However I've just talked
    that over
    with Markus Nix, and I'll be happy to integrate some of the patches as
    well as the latest version (release after 0.7.1) into a new
    maintenance-release shortly. I'll also see to put that into PEAR cvs.

    However a new helper for the package for the long run still sounds
    like
    a good idea ...
