If it's PHP 4 then I think we could make an exception to get it in but having both php 4 and 5
would be best, to cater to the older packages (Think Console_Table for example) and also the newer

That would be a fork then, because it doesn't match PEAR's CS 100% (class name, global
variable name), and we don't plan to use it for Horde 4 (PHP 5) yet because we'll probably
utilize icu/intl then.
But beside that, I don't have an objections, if there really is a need for it. There
haven't been too many voices in this thread so far.
