Dear Friends, I got into endless cycle! I try to contribute my code in PEAR library, and I follow the steps published in PEAR documentation and stuck in the step of "Announcing to the PEAR developers" http://pear.php.net/manual/en/developers.contributing.howto.php In that step you ask to announce my candidate package in PEPr as draft… himmm … so far so fine … well, I click on new proposal, and as expected it asks for username and password, while I have no account yet, so I simply click on sign up link: http://pear.php.net/account-request.php In that page I got 4 different scenarios, and my case match first one "Want to propose a new (and complete) package for inclusion in PEAR", so I click on it and got this registration form: http://pear.php.net/account-request-newpackage.php I fill in all fields (even optional fields) in that form, I clicked on submit button, then I got a very strange error message say the following: *ERROR: * § *The purpose(s) you selected do not require a PEAR account. * To be frank, this makes me a bit confusing, what is going there, and what is my mistake? Could any body assist me in this issue please? Best regards, Khaled -- http://www.ar-php.com PHP and Arabic language solutions by Khaled Al-Shamaa
