New pearweb server and more

Hi guys, We finally found a new server for the website and thus we can start again with our site improvements soon enough. This will however mean that we will have a slight downtime of the whole service but stay tuned for a proper announcement on that part. In an ongoing effort to improve the website I will be revamping the homepage and some other things and I started wondering why we don't have one of those "X and Y company use PEAR!!" like so many projects have on their website. In the past I would have shouted VANITY VANITY and thrown the idea into the bin but now a days I don't see why we shouldn't try to keep some sort of list - it only helps us :-) So I'm proposing that we get consent from companies we know are using PEAR and add them to some dedicated list on the website but I prefer if people came out of the wood works and just submitted their own companies instead of us hunting anything down. This is still in the idea phase but I felt like I should discuss it here before taking it to the general list. So what does people think ? Bad idea ? Good idea ? I want both sides if possible and I am really open for ideas how to do this better and/or differently. Regards Helgi
