I would like to add one thing to what Greg mentionned. Christian has been doing the most incredible on many fronts and I believe his thought and actions reflected on everybody in the PHP Community not only in the PEAR Community. His efforts to bring phD to a new level has been astonishing. Your work on unit tests and test coverage for PEAR has simply been brilliant and admirable. You definitely have shown to many more developers (not only in PEAR) but in the developer world, that not only PEAR and PHP Developers can do things right but in fact they do. I have had feedback from speaking with other communities (web technology but not PHP related) and other types of developers that what you were doing (the whole PEAR (and especially PEAR2)) idea is sterling and much needed out there in the web world. Once again, christian, thanks again and you have proven why you are on this years group once again :) Thanks to Greg for mentioning that up, I think it was a great idea.
