I don't feel the package is annoying. I simply felt bug 14855 was
unnecessary, low-hanging fruit that didn't warrant a major release.
There was no misunderstanding, and certainly no need to apologize. I
did not take your email or comments as an attack or criticism.
The bug you initially mentioned was opened the same day you mentioned
it. When I get a bug report and a flurry of "hurry hurry fix it fix it"
bug comments and emails; well, I don't just bang out a release as fast
as I can patch and commit.
I've created a roadmap, and I'll roll 1.1.0. I am extremely careful
with releases to System_Command (and Net_Ping) since they're used by so
many people and have been around for so long.

or rather, these days there are much better ways to do what it does.
Any
time spent rolling a major release of System_Command seems
unnecessary."
That made me figured that you didn't really feel like spending time on
the package anymore but if you are still up for it I am glad (really
glad). Anyways, I am sorry if I sounded rude, I didn't mean to :) I
was just asking what was the status of this bug and if you had any
intentions. I have to agree that my original question was a bit cold,
sorry about this.
Sorry for any misunderstanding,
