Unfortunately I have not heard from > Hermann (the package's maintainer) since April. Considering you have not heard from Hermann for over 6 months I think it may be fair to consider the Payment_DTA unmaintained (though we may need to verify this) and have taken the liberty to add the source for the most recent release (v 1.2.0) to the PEAR CVS repository - I've included Hermann on this email to check if I'm right/if he's ok with this. @Hermann: if you wish I have no problems with removing Payment_DTA from CVS. It's your decision. Though... I should note that Daniel attempted to make contact with Hermann 28 days ago today, and Hermann has not responded since then. This, I believe allows the QA team to declare the package unmaintained/orphaned - somebody please correct me if I am wrong. http://pear.php.net/pepr/pepr-proposal-show.php?id=60 outlines how the QA team should work and I think indicates this in that document. If so, the next steps would be to ask you for some patches for Payment_QA (this is so we can be assured of the quality of your work) and if in favour mark you as a developer of Payment_DTA and give you karma to allow you read+write access to it in CVS. good luck and thank you for wanting to work on Payment_DTA ken -- PEAR QA Team Member
