Hi,
Let me congratulate everyone concerned on the first release of shiny new PHP5 incarnation of HTTP_Request. :]
I'd like to thank everyone who participated in discussion on pear-dev and submitted feature requests for HTTP_Request(2) package, that helped a lot. Special thanks go to Christian Schmidt for rewrite of Net_URL2 and to David Jean Louis for publishing his version of HTTP_Request2.
Now that the package is available, can someone with access change the Net_Curl package to be superseded by HTTP_Request2 rather than HTTP_Request, since the latter does not support cURL and is superseded itself.
Also can someone prepare a list of packages that have PHP5 and cURL as their required dependencies, time to spam their bug trackers with feature requests.
